"Bättre en öppen hand gentemot andra än en knuten näve i min egen ficka"
Hur ofta säger vi inte, eller hör.... knyt näven och gå vidare. Mao bit ihop och fortsätt med det du gör eller ändra kurs.
Är det så vi ska agera för att få det bästa resultatet? Är det så vi öppnar upp för andra och andras ord, förslag och idéer mm?
Visst måste vi ibland stålsätta oss och kämpa. Men ofta gör vi det då ensamma med orden "jag ska visa dem"... och ibland vet vi inte ens vem "dem" är?
En öppen hand innebär för mig att jag öppnar upp för hjälp utifrån, från andra människor och från Gud. Den öppna handen är också tecken på att vilja ge.
Idag ska jag erkänna mina egna tillkortakommanden.
Idag ska jag be om hjälp.

"Better an open hand to other than a tied fist in my pocket"
How often do we hear no .... tie your fist and move on. Pull yourself together and get on with what you do.
Is this how we should act to get the best results? Is that the way how we open up to others and others' words, suggestions and ideas?
It is certain that sometimes we just need to fight. But we often make it when we are alone with the words "I'll show them" ... and sometimes, or often, we do not know who "they"are?
An open hand is someone I open up for help from other people and from God. The open hand is also a sign of my willingness to give.
Today I recognize my own shortcomings.
Today, I ask for help.
